| Eric Mauck (left) attempts to flush a bird that his setter Buddy
scented near by. Sal Satallante (in blue) walks in between the
two dogs. Sal's Pointer, Sal's Ramona Pete, is backing with tremendous
style with high head and tail. Eric was unable to produce a bird
so he asked Buddy to move on to relocate. In a matter of several
sweeps, Buddy pointed again with Sal's Pointer backing once more.
However, after Eric flushed the bird and shot, Sal's Pointer had
some movement, thus the judges decided Sal had to pick up or continue,
but stay clear of Eric and his setter. Sal decided to continue
and work his dog so it can gain more experience under field trial
conditions. |
| Jerry Lewis searched for a pointed bird as indicated by his
setter, Juke Box Junkie. Judge Colvin watches both dog and Jerry. |
